I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. We had a lovely time up in Preston with my in-laws. On Christmas day we went around to my husband's cousin for a great dinner with most of his family.  My recently completed Simplicity 3835 did me proud!

I'm back home in London now and, as I didn't cook dinner I didn't have any left overs to cook with - so I'll make with mine instead. The leftovers being the fabrics I used for the dress - a blue corduroy and a printed cotton.

I'll be off to see my niece and nephew very soon in the new year and so I thought some toys would be in order.  I'd seen a tutorial on Threadbanger ages ago for Stupid Creatures (their name not mine - I think they are cute). I used my scrap fabric rather than an old pair of jeans but the results are the same.

Hopefully he won't be too scary for my niece who is 6 months old.
