I'm about half way on the Simplicity 3835 and I still can't decide to keep it all in the blue corduroy or to add some accents of another fabric.

Now this throws buttons into the mix - I'm an absolute sucker for big useless buttons. I'm starting to think of a big red button on the collar, a red zip and matched with red on the pockets and the arm ties.  I'm off to John Lewis tomorrow to get the zip so I'll just have to see if they have the buttons and a good matching fabric (which of course they will so I will still have to make up my mind!).

I didn't get as much time on the dress as I would have hoped over the weekend - but due to the great things of visiting friends and a lovely night out on Saturday at one of my favourite restaurants RSJ in Southwark.  I did a few hours on Friday and a couple on Sunday but am already nearly finished - I could have easily worked on to finish it but I didn't have the zip so I stopped to watch some TV (the film Bad Santa. - very funny).

I should be able to finish it on Tuesday night so its still set to be my Xmas day outfit.
