I promised you Japanese sewing books...

thematerialgirl — Thu, 12/17/2009 - 20:45

As I said a few days ago, I came home from Brazil to find two Japanese patterns books that I had ordered before going away.

I've been through one in more detail now - "Unique clothes anyway you like" and I am in love with just about every item in it.

Unique clothes anyway you like

There are 19 patterns ranging from skirts, tops, blouses, scarfs and collars. Japanese patterns just look so graceful and the photography is wonderful in it.

I want to make every single item in it - now there's an idea for a challenge next year! However, first on the list has to be this twisted cardigan.

It looks like they have used a thing linen type fabric for this version.
