One arm wonder - I wonder what people see in them

Stephanal one-arm dress

I just don't get these one-arm styles.  They just look unfinished to me.  I'm obviously wrong though - if I am to believe my fashion bible Grazia. They have no fewer than 3 of these tops and dresses advertised in this weeks issue.

The one on the left is by couture house Vionnet and is over £1,600 - for something that is surely a fad.

At least they would be easy to make from existing patterns - just leave off one arm and finish it with a bit of binding.

I'm usually a big fan of an asymetric look so I'm not sure why this doesn't float my boat.

In fact I'm asymetric today - I'm wearing one of my favorite things of all time. A cardigan from Uniqlo that I am going to have to make a pattern from so that I can remake as many times as I like. OK, that sounds like a new project to get with - I'll add it to the ever growing list :-)
