This was an easy one - but still took me a few hours last night to finish - mainly because I was tired at the end and kept getting the zip wrong. I managed to sew it too far down, backwards and upside down (not all at the same time) - so had to redo it 3 times.

However, the end result speaks for itself and I'm really pleased with it. I think the blue corduroy and the accent fabric work well together - I had been thinking of doing it all in the corduroy but the details would have been lost.

The pattern was a joy to do - very simple and I can see this becoming a bit of staple in the wardrobe - I've seens lots of examples from other people where it has been made in lighter cottons which look great.

I did do a little mini-video of my makein gof it but I'm having trouble downloading off my camera today - hopefully I'll be able to post it tomorrow.

I'm planning on wearing it Christmas day so I'll see what my in-laws think of it!
