A summer skirt - so where's the sun?

I'm embarrassed - 3 whole weeks since my last post and last finished project. That 30 projects I predicted at the beginning of the year seems a distant dream now unless I get my arse into gear!
And what a let down I hear you say - a simple A-line skirt. True - but I drafted the pattern to this skirt so I'm very proud of it. This was one of the patterns I did on the Dressmaking and drafting course I was talking about a few weeks ago. The course has now finished but I needed to finish a couple of things on here and I still have the dress to finish. The skirt fits like a dream and is bound to become a pattern I keep going back to. Also, what you can't see on this photo is the finishing - it actually looks well made on the inside - something I haven't really achieved in the past.
The fabric is a very light weight cotton print which I'm currently selling on ebay (plug! - if you like it here's the link http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=160414954667&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT.
I'm already planning my next version of the skirt - I bought a cheap offcut of upholstery fabric over the weekend - a shimmery circles pattern. Very Boden I'm hoping. Let's hope it doesn't take me this long again.
